Fancy Meeting You Here

Before I could write I would scribble lines on pages and pages of journals. I would bring them to my parents to read what I had “wrote.” I was 14 when writing became my lifeline. It started with dark and twisty adolescent poems and has bloomed into more entry and journal style pieces. Writing for me has always been the glue that holds it together. It’s how I process emotions, how I mourn, how I celebrate, how I pray. Like I said, the glue. I feel lucky to have something that always holds me together and even luckier that people want to read about it. I’m happy you’re here.
