I thought this post might be fun for those who don’t know me as well or possibly want to know more. I asked on my instagram story for people to give assumptions and I am going to answer if they are true or false here. Lezzzz get it. 

1. “I assume you’re boujee” I would say somewhat true. I recently have been more into fashion which can appear more boujee. I definitely like to “treat myself” and get my nails done, hair done and basically anything like that. But I think that I’m very laid back when it comes to things not going as planned, making plans and people things in general. 
2. “You trust no man but that’s not an assumption.” False. I trust the men in my family 😉 As for the rest of yall…..
3. “I don’t really know you personally but from people I know they all say you’re a great person.” This one was really nice. I think it’s so easy to make assumptions out of people’s social media. They’re “conceited” because they post themselves, “performative” because they advocate for others, the list goes on. I made this blog as an attempt to show a little more of who I am and instead of how people portray me on social media. It’s so important to remember that we all are fighting our own battles and to be kind. 
4. “You and Audrey are two pretty best friends.” True 😉 
5. “Do you believe in God? If so what is Gods name?” I do believe in God. I believe that God has lots of names because we all are God. The lessons that we teach each other, the way that we treat each other and the experiences that we all go and grow through are God. 
6. “You trying to be my next boo.” Hmmm to be determined…..
7. “Are you an Aries?” False but so close! Taurus. 
8. “You seem very quiet.” I read this one to my friend this morning and she laughed so I’m going to have to say false. I have a very loud voice in general but I definitely can be quiet in groups depending on mood and how comfortable I am. (But around my girls…different story). 
9. “All your designer is fake: fact” False! I actually didn’t grow up around designer and don’t even have that much. My LV bag I bought at the mall in Somerset as a graduation present to myself, my OFF-WHITE belt is from Revolve and the Dior pictured was my friends. This comment came from an anonymous account that has rudely messaged me about my (??) money before. Talking or “defending” money feels uncomfortable and weird to me, but since you want to talk about it so bad my best advice is this. Worrying about my money won’t make you richer and if you are going to view all my stories you might as well follow me. Stay blessed! 
10. “Bad bitch but has a good heart.” True 😉 This one made me smile. 
11. “This girl is funny af how do I swap her for my actual cousin.” False. Because in my head you are my actual cousin!!
12. “You love to cook your own food because you like it a specific way.” True and false. I grew up VERY picky and eating very plain foods. I can only eat meat if I do not cook it (touching raw meat really freaks me out). But other foods, like eggs, I like better when I cook! I’m working on overcoming my pickyness… 
13. “Assumed you were big into cheese when I met you.” True. 
14. “All I know is that you’re 100% different from what I thought you would be but I love it!” This one was kind of funny to me. I think it surprises people when they meet me because I have a lot of energy. Especially when you get to know me I get like hyper bursts that I don’t think people expect. Lol. 
15. “Your ass is fat.” True, period. 

Shout out to everyone that wrote assumptions. I hope that this helped everyone to see me a little better. Like I said, I really want this blog to be a place of honesty, self love and growth. We’re all on a different journey that is easily hidden in the facade of social media. Let’s stay kind and blessed.
